where to touch your toes to grass, wfh in peace, have great Italian, and other sips, bites, and places I spent time this month that are in good taste!!
My scouted go-to recs, curated just for you. They must be in good taste if I’m sharing them with you!!!
May was a whirlwind; sorry how is it June?! My apologies for the slight delay on this one! I hope spring is treating you oh-so-good and you are enjoying the yummy weather.
first order of business…consider becoming a ~paid subscriber~ for less than a coffee (actually half a NYC coffee, let’s be so honest) a month!! & in return, you will get access to all past newsletters and weekly reviews of everywhere I visit. x
to spend time
I am a big fan of a patch of grass, which is slightly juxtaposed where I have chosen to live (or so I’ve been told). So when I do find a nice green patch, I can stick my toes in…. well, I am a frequent visitor along with my book. Down near the promenade in Brooklyn has been my favorite spot lately. It’s much calmer than the parks in Manhattan and I love walking along the water before or after. Bring your book and stay a while!!!
Cafes/to WFH
Noka — This spot has quickly become my favorite cafe, I trek to Cobble Hill weekly and have told all my friends about it. The interiors are airy and inviting, and it is clearly a beloved neighborhood spot for working or chatting or sitting and reading, which can be hard to come by. WFH approved!
